Here is a basic guide to healthy diet. 

PROTEINS

  • MEATS:  Free range/organic chicken, turkey

  • Grass-fed/organic beef, lamb, veal, beefalo

  • No lunch meat or cured meats with nitrites or MSG

  • SEAFOOD: Wild-caught Fish (Not Farmed-Raised Fish)

  • Halibut, Salmon, Cod, Anchovies, Mackerel, Whitefish, etc

  • Shellfish may avoid or limit

  • OTHER PROTEINS:  Fertile, free range/organic eggs,

  • Tofu or Tempeh, Natto, Legumes (soak legumes in water)

  • Protein Powder(Vegan or hemp protein powder,etc)

  • NUTS & SEEDS:  Organic/Raw/Sprouted nuts and seeds, almonds, brazil, cashews, walnuts, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, etc.

  • Natural nut butters where oil rises to the top - avoid commercial brands (containing hydrogenated oils and sugar), best is Sprouted Organic Raw almond butter.

 Directions for All Shakes

Thoroughly blend all ingredients together, adding ice cubes or cold water until the shake reaches desired consistency. You may make a large enough batch to last you through the day, but make sure to keep it refrigerated and remix as needed before pouring.

Tips for your shake:

  • Use frozen fruit and eliminate water/ice for a frosty, thick smoothie.

  • Mangos or peaches give your shake a nice zing.

  • Slice extra ripe bananas and freeze for easy use.

  • Increasing fruit will increase the sweetness but will also increase the calories and may interfere with weight management or your conditions.

All grains and legumes contain "phytic acid", an organic acid that blocks mineral absorption in the intestinal tract. Phytic acid is neutralized in as little as 7 hours of soaking in water. Soaking also neutralizes enzyme inhibitors present in the hulls of all seeds and adds beneficial enzymes which increase the amount of nutrients present – especially the B vitamins. 

 Soaking or Fermenting gluten-based grains breaks down this difficult to digest plant protein.

Soaked Oatmeal- The Old Fashioned Way

Ingredient: 

1 cup Rolled oats

1 cup Filtered water

2 TBS Lemon juice or Apple cider vinegar.

Ingredients after soaking:

1 cup Filtered water

Sea salt

Instraction: mix all ingredinets, and then cover and leave on the counter overnight or for a minimum of 7 hours. (soak in a warm kitchen or cupboard, not in a cold refrigerator) After soaking, add 1 cup of additional water and sea salt, bring to a boil, reduce heat, cover and simmer for several minutes.

Salads and Salad Accents

* Beet and Orange Salad With Citrus Vinaigrette

  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

  • 2 teaspoons balsamic vinegar

  • 1/2 teaspoon Celtic Sea Salt®

  • Freshly ground black pepper

  • 1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil

  • 4 medium beets, stems trimmed to 1 inch

  • 1 large navel orange

  • 8 large Boston lettuce leaves

  • 1-2 tablespoons diced red onion

  • 1/4 cup fresh orange juice

Arrange beets in one layer in steamer. Cover tightly and set pot over high heat. When water boils, reduce heat and simmer beets 45 minutes. Transfer beets to plate and let cool just enough to handle. Cut tops and root tip off beets. With your fingers, pull and slide off beet skin. Cut each beet crosswise into 6 slices. Grate 2 teaspoons zest from orange and set aside. Cut off top and bottom of orange. Setting orange on one of its cut sides on your work surface, slice off peel in strips, letting knife follow the curve of the fruit. Cut orange crosswise into 8 slices.

Entrees

* Ginger Chickens with vegetables

½ lbs of chopped chicken breast

2 cups of chopped any vegetables (Bokchoy, Carrots, Napa Cabbage, Brocolli, Spinach, Cauliflower, etc)

Option: chopped Firm Tofu

1 finely chopped garlic,

1 finely chopped ginger ,

1 TBS of Soy Sauce,

½ TSP of Healthy SugarSalt (adjust the taste),

¼ cups of water

Heat up a fried pan, and add ginger & garlicAdd chicken breasts and cook little bit, and then add all chopped vegetables with adding soy sauce and ¼ cup of water.Cover the pan and steam it for 5 minutes w middle heat *watch the pan to make sure not to burn foods!When foods are cooked, add Healthy sugar and Salt. You can also cook it for a minute.

* Herb Salmon

4 salmon fillets, about 6 oz. each

4 tablespoons fresh lemon juice (divided)

Celtic Sea Salt and ground pepper

1/2 cup Dijon mustard

1 teaspoon olive oil

3 tablespoons chopped fresh dill

3 tablespoons chopped fresh basil
